Networking

Networking is an important feature of today’s business life and the CMA aims to provide you with increasing opportunities to remain in touch with old friends and colleagues, renew acquaintances and make new business contacts.

Alumni Directory

One of the CMA’s main assets is the alumni database. CMA members can access up-to-date information on all alumni who have graduated from Cranfield School of Management since its beginning in 1964 plus delegates from the School’s Executive Development programmes who have joined the Association. The data stored for each alumnus includes home and work contact details, job title and organisation, industry classification, geographical location, nationality and programme details.

In addition the Alumni Directory is also published in hard copy and posted to all CMA members in January of each year.

Business Directory

The Business Directory provides an online listing of businesses run by Cranfield School of Management alumni. From design agencies and energy consultants to holiday cottages and TV production organisations, there is a diverse range of businesses, from across all business sectors advertised in the Directory.

The online Business Directory can be viewed by all alumni and the general public.

If you are a CMA Member, you can take advantage of this excellent advertising and business development opportunity by including your business in the Directory at no extra charge.

My Cranfield Programme

Keep in touch with colleagues from your Cranfield Programme and find out what they are doing now. This CMA service enables alumni to contact fellow alumni from their programme, search their programme directory, post news about themselves and much more.

Log in and access 'My Programme' through your Quick Access box.

International Communities

Our international alumni play an important part in the success of our network. They have chosen Cranfield School of Management for their management education and want to share their experiences with fellow alumni and promote the ‘Cranfield Experience’ to others from the same geographical area.

Following the establishment of the first CMA international community in Australia, international communities have formed in many other countries and regions, strengthening the ties between alumni living and working there.

Log in and access 'My International Community' via your Quick Access Box.

Professional Interest Networks

Connect with like-minded professionals via our Professional Interest Networks.

The CMA’s Professional Interest Networks are designed to facilitate networking between specialists, encourage debate on topical subjects and provide an interface between Cranfield’s academia and alumni practitioners.

We currently have five active networks: CMA members can join the CMA’s Professional Interest Networks by clicking on "Update my profile", on the left of this page and selecting the ‘Special Interests’ tab.

Alumni Communications

The Association acts as the central point for University, School, CMA and alumni communications to all School of Management alumni. It does this using a variety of media and within guidelines agreed by its alumni.

The Alumni Magazine is published twice a year and is available to all alumni. It provides feature articles on our alumni and brings you up-to-date with CMA and School news from around the world. The e-Newsletter is emailed to all alumni once a month providing the very latest headline news and details of international events. Mid month UK based alumni receive an Event-Bulletin providing details of forthcoming CMA and School events with a direct link to our online event booking service.

Alumni in the News

Many of our alumni have gone on to become well known and highly regarded leaders in their chosen fields. This is what makes our alumni network the most effective in Europe and one of the School’s greatest assets.

The CMA is always pleased to hear about the successes of our alumni, so please keep in touch and let us know of any changes in your career or any news that may be of interest to us and other alumni.

Events and Reunions

The CMA runs an extensive programme of events and reunions bringing alumni together to be entertained, challenged and informed and to meet old friends and make new contacts.

In 2006 the CMA boasted a full and diverse calendar of events. We organised over 50 in the UK and internationally attracting more than 2,500 alumni and their guests. 2007 is promising to be another great year for the CMA Calendar. In addition to our annual events we are organising an array of exciting events throughout the year.

CMAWorld

Networking within the Association has never been easier! With CMAWorld, our exclusive and dynamic website, alumni can contact fellow alumni and CMA members can gain immediate access to all of our members’ services.

CMAWorld is not just another website. It was specifically designed for our alumni and CMA members, ensuring that they can easily obtain the information that they are seeking, participate in those activities that are of interest and only take up the CMA services that they choose.
