Nigel Doughty is CEO of Doughty Hanson & Co, one of the largest independent private equity firms in Europe. Doughty Hanson has offices across Europe and in the US. Together with Richard Hanson, he founded Doughty Hanson and Co in 1984 following completion of his MBA at Cranfield.He is Chairman of a number of companies including Dunlop Standard Aerospace and Umbro. Doughty Hanson's most recent acquisition includes the 20-20 Mobile Group. Nigel is a member of the World Economic Forum in Davos, a member of the Cranfield School of Management Finance Advisory Panel and Chairman of Nottingham Forest footbal club.
