Annual Fund
The School of Management Annual Fund is an initiative which allows Cranfield to build upon the goodwill and commitment of alumni and friends of the School. The Fund has been established to provide those who care about Cranfield and its future an opportunity to support it financially to ensure that the School maintains its top league table position internationally.
To this end we conduct many activities throughout the year, ranging from events and debates here at Cranfield and in many other locations across the world, to face-to-face meetings which allow us to learn first hand what our alumni have being doing since they graduated, how they believe can continue to grow and develop, and what sort of projects they would be interested in supporting.
Telephone campaigns are also becoming an integral part of the School’s annual fundraising programme, enabling us to get in contact with our alumni, pass on recent news about progress at the School, and offer an opportunity to donate to the School of Management Annual Fund. Telephone fundraising is one of the most personal ways of contacting our graduates and we know from experience that alumni respond to peers, which is why student involvement is invaluable.
The last three years have seen fantastic success in alumni and corporate giving to the School. Raising 4.1 million is evidence that alumni and friends care about the School and share its ambitions. The Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility and the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurial Performance and Economics are two examples of how major gifts from alumni have deepened the impact that the School makes internationally in the practice of management.
