The CMA is delighted to announce the launch of its Wine Club which offers wine lovers the opportunity to buy selected wines at advantageous prices.

David Wright BGP 2001, through his company Awin Barratt Siegel (ABS) Wine Agencies, will provide a quarterly offer of selected wines direct from importers to CMA members.

Each quarter you will be able to select from:
‘Quaffers’: A pair of wines, easy to drink and enjoy;
‘Diners’: A pair of wines that are good with food;
‘Indulgence’: A wine to grace any table;
‘Something different’: An unusual, lesser known wine

ABS, Importer of the Year 2007, represents wine growers and producers from all over the world. The company supplies supermarkets, wholesalers and retailers, but not the 'on trade' or individuals except under special circumstances.

Typically, as with many agency houses and stock holders ABS seek new channels of distribution hence the relationship with the CMA. Whilst 'mail order' is not the primary business of the company as it is not specifically geared up to managing multiple private orders, the opportunity to sell some wines at advantageous prices to fellow CMA members is a very worthy one.
