- Understand the impact of recent corporate governance reports on your NED
The School runs the highly acclaimed Non-Executive Directors Seminar, directed by Murray Steele MBA 1977. This specialised seminar, with leading speakers from organisations such as Hermes, 3i, Ernst and Young, Exec Appointments Ltd, IRS and Kimbells, will enhance your skills and equip you for the multifaceted and challenging role of a Non-Executive Director.
The Independent Director Limited was formed in 1993 to provide a service to companies searching for a non-executive or chairman throughout Britain and Ireland. The principal consultants, Ian Davies MBA 1988 and David Thompson MBA 1969, have many years experience in finding board directors for companies, charities, not for profit and public sector institutions.
Non-Executive Directors can make an enormous contribution to your Board. They are seasoned business professionals; typically they have many years of success behind them and now provide their wisdom and experience to new business challenges. In addition to supporting you in your role as a NED, the CMA service can also assist you in finding the right NED for your own organisation and managing the NED within the role.
