The CMA Alumni Office now has the dual function of developing alumni relations plus raising development funds. The recently created Development Office has now been integrated into the CMA Alumni Office to enable the CMA and the School to develop closer relationships with alumni to strengthen the Cranfield brand both in the UK and internationally.
The last three years have seen fantastic success in alumni and corporate giving to the School. Raising £4.1 million is evidence that alumni and friends care about the School and share its ambitions. The Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility and the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurial Performance and Economics are two examples of how major gifts from alumni have deepened the impact that the School makes internationally in the practice of management.
Since the CMA was established in 1976, the Association has promoted excellence in professional management by responding to the evolving needs of our alumni and offering quality professional services. Today the alumni network includes over 12,000 professional managers in over 120 countries worldwide.
With such a diverse and motivated alumni body we are able to support the School across its whole range of activities, helping to bring in more business and, more importantly, ensuring that Cranfield School of Management remains ‘closest to business’.
The CMA now gives alumni an opportunity to support the School directly to ensure that the School’s activities are continuously advanced. By supporting the 2010 Annual Fund alumni guarantee that future generations of professional managers will also benefit from the ‘Cranfield experience’.
